Jackie Kennedy: 'Marilyn is a Problem' - The Mystery of Monroe's Death

A new biography of John F. Kennedy reveals that Jackie Kennedy had warned the president about Marilyn Monroe, according to J. Randy Taraborrelli, author of 'JFK: Private, Public Secret'.
Jackie reportedly told Kennedy that Monroe 'could create problems'. The discussion took place before Kennedy's birthday party on May 19, 1962, where Monroe performed 'Happy Birthday' wearing a stunning dress.
Taraborrelli claims that Jackie was concerned because she knew about her husband's affairs and considered Marilyn a major threat. Despite rumors of an affair between Kennedy and Monroe, the author admits that there is not enough evidence to confirm the relationship.
Taraborrelli discovered that Kennedy, towards the end of his life, expressed remorse for his behavior towards Jackie. The book also mentions Marilyn Monroe's death in August 1962, at the age of 36, from an overdose of barbiturates. Jackie was reportedly saddened by the news.
Coroner Thomas Noguchi, who performed Monroe's autopsy, stated that he was a 'pawn' in a case that exceeded the limits of his duties, rekindling cover-up scenarios. Conspiracy theories about her death include the suicide version, the 'injection' hypothesis with political dimensions, and the cover-up hypothesis.
