Jessica Chastain and Octavia Spencer Reunite on Screen

Jessica Chastain and Octavia Spencer, 14 years after the success of "The Help," will co-star in the Christmas comedy "Deck the Y'alls."

The film follows Rachel Stein (Jessica Chastain), a New York baker who falls in love with Bo and travels to Charleston, South Carolina, to spend Christmas with his family. There, she clashes with the overprotective Gladys Gibbs (Octavia Spencer), a famous chef.

Filming will begin in 2026. The script is written by Tracy Oliver and Stephanie Williams. The cast also includes Wanda Sykes.

The two actresses were nominated for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for "The Help," with Spencer winning the award. Chastain won an Oscar for "The Eyes of Tammy Faye."
