Vasilis Bisbikis: Role and Boundaries in the New Film 'Broken Vein'

Actor Vasilis Bisbikis spoke to LIFO about his starring role in Yiannis Economides' new film, 'Broken Vein'.

Bisbikis referred to human nature and its limits, as well as the attitude that an artist should have towards art. "No one is a saint, not even me," he stated, describing the dark and contradictory character he plays.

Referring to the director, Bisbikis said: "Yiannis is an intellectual... If you are a liar on stage, he will understand. He doesn't stop until he gets what he wants..."

Regarding his role, the actor explained: "We all have within us all the versions that a role can have... You try to sympathize with my role and then you want to kick him. He plays with the limits..."
