Vicky Koullianou, in a recent interview on the show "Kalytera de Ginetai", spoke about how she dealt with the loss of her father. She revealed that she did not attend his funeral, explaining that she found her own way to say goodbye.

As she said, her father's death coincided with the loss of designer Michalis Aslanis. She stated: "The death of Michalis Aslanis was close to the death of my dad. I didn't go to his funeral, just as I didn't go to my dad's funeral."

Vicky Koullianou emphasized that farewells are not limited to a formal ceremony. "I believe that people who leave are somewhere else very well. In a huge wonderful hug. It is true that one must say goodbye, but farewells are not only where you will attend, they are within us. I said goodbye to my dad a year later, listening to Mitropanos who was his favorite singer," she said.

In a touching moment, Vicky Koullianou described how she burst into tears for her father a year after his death, in a rebetiko club in Pagrati.
