Christina Kontova: "I have had two unsuccessful pregnancies"

Fashion designer Christina Kontova spoke on the show #SuperKaterina about her decision to adopt Ada from Uganda.
She revealed that before the adoption, she had experienced two unsuccessful pregnancies. "There was something about adoption that moved me and drew me in so much that I couldn't not do it... I have had two unsuccessful pregnancies... our paths came together," she said.
Christina Kontova stayed in Uganda for a total of 13 months to complete the adoption. She also spoke about her experience with racism: "When Ada came, she was 3.5 years old and now she is 8. Racism exists, but we haven't experienced it much. I would say that I am lucky, perhaps because of recognition."
She emphasized that she is a single-parent family and that everyday life is difficult, but she has found her balance.
