Christina Pappa: Granddaughter's Infant Diabetes

Actress Christina Pappa spoke about her granddaughter's health scare, referring to a case of infant diabetes. In an interview with the magazine "Loipon," Christina Pappa explained that she was initially shaken, but maintained her faith and felt confident that everything would be alright.
"To tell you the truth, I don't like us saying 'rare disease.' Things get confusing that way. Maybe I put it wrong or it wasn't properly understood. It wasn't anything tragic, it was infant diabetes, which is indeed extremely rare. Infants almost never develop diabetes. But, thank God, it was temporary. It was overcome, it passed," she stated.
Christina Pappa also emphasized that in such situations you feel helpless, especially when it comes to an infant. She and the child's mother, Anna Bezan, resorted to prayer, making vows to Saints.
