The actress described the day of her mother's death, on her birthday, as a strange celebration, full of peace and symbolism.
'In front of her coffin, we felt like we were having a birthday party. There was no pain, there was peace. It was the greatest gift my mother gave us on her birthday. The next day, the day of the funeral, it was like a big celebration,' Christina Pavlidou characteristically stated.
