Parliament Donates Rescue Dogs King and Kira to Red Cross

The Hellenic Parliament has donated two rescue dogs, King and Kira, to the Hellenic Red Cross. The announcement was made by the President of the Parliament, Nikitas Kaklamanis, during a meeting with the President of the Hellenic Red Cross, Antonios Avgerinos.

The dogs have already begun training in human scent detection, obedience, orientation, and working under pressure. Antonios Avgerinos thanked the Parliament for the donation, emphasizing the significant contribution of the dogs to rescue operations.

Nikitas Kaklamanis stated that the donation is a contribution from the entire Parliament to the Hellenic Red Cross. A third dog, Ira, recently participated in search operations in Aigio.
