Elena Bobou: Complaint of Assault by Police Officer

Police officer Elena Bobou has publicly reported being assaulted by her ex-partner, also a police officer, at a nightclub. The complaint was made via a video posted on social media.

According to her complaint, the assault took place during a night out. The case has led to disciplinary proceedings, with the accused being suspended and surrendering his service weapon.

Elena Bobou described the initial phase of their relationship, where she felt safe and that she had found a 'stable, mature person.' However, the situation escalated with shouting and physical violence. Despite the incidents, she initially did not speak out due to shame and fear.

According to the police officer, one night she was attacked by her ex-partner, describing the incident as 'the scariest night of my life.' Later, she activated the panic button, an application that directly connects her mobile phone to the police, when her ex-partner suddenly appeared at a nightclub.

The case is under investigation, and Elena Bobou wishes to encourage other women experiencing similar situations to seek help.
