Student Housing Allowance: Application Platform Opens Today

The online platform for submitting applications for the student housing allowance for the academic year 2024-2025 opened today, Monday, June 30, 2025. Applications will be accepted until July 31, 2025.

Interested parties can apply through the special application: https://stegastiko.minedu.gov.gr, using TAXISnet codes.

The allowance amounts to €2000, while for cohabitation cases it reaches €2500.

The Deputy Minister of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports, Nikos Papaioannou, signed a circular with more information regarding the granting of the allowance.

The Minister of Education, Sofia Zacharaki, stated that the government is working to upgrade student residences and create new ones, in order to reduce the financial burden on families.
