The Journalists' Union of Athens (ESIEA) Bids Farewell to Spyros Karatzaferis

The Journalists' Union of Athens (ESIEA) has issued a statement of condolence on the death of journalist Spyros Karatzaferis, who passed away at the age of 88.

In its announcement, ESIEA stated that Spyros Karatzaferis was a combative journalist and reporter, serving the press until the end of his life. The Board of Directors of ESIEA expressed its condolences to the family of the deceased, and especially to his daughter, Lilly Karatzaferi, who is also a journalist.

The funeral of Spyros Karatzaferis will be held in a close family circle, following a request from the family that there be no journalistic coverage.
