Ioanna Paliospirou: Touching Account of Acid Attack Recovery

Ioanna Paliospirou, speaking on the show «Super Katerina», referred to the screening of the documentary «9:30» which concerns the acid attack she suffered.

«I felt more pressured when I saw the documentary, because when I was filming it, I was still in the problem. When I took a step back to see the result, in 20 minutes they describe the attack and the reason for the attack,» said Ioanna Paliospirou.

She also mentioned: «I describe all the details in the book about how it was announced to me, the feelings, the dialogues with the police officers, with my mom that I had to announce it to her.»

She also revealed that it took her three months to see herself after the attack, while emphasizing the importance of teamwork in her recovery.

«With my hand on my heart, I will tell you that I would not have made it alone. It is a team effort,» concluded Ioanna Paliospirou.
