Social Partnership: Affordable Housing for Vulnerable Households

The social partnership program is underway, aiming to utilize public properties for housing construction. 30% of the houses will be allocated to socially vulnerable groups, prioritizing young couples and citizens up to 39 years old.
The first tender for selecting construction companies is expected to begin by the end of the year, with the aim of starting the construction of the first houses in 2026. The houses will be available at low rent to citizens meeting social criteria.
Beneficiaries: Beneficiaries are selected by OPEKA based on social criteria such as income, assets, and family status. Beneficiaries will not receive housing allowance.
Rent: The rent will be lower than the market rate.
Redemption: The possibility of redeeming the houses is given after 10 years.
Construction: Social partnership is a contract between the ministry and a private individual for the construction or renovation of properties.
