Kostas Samaras: Grief at the Funeral of His Sister, Lena Samaras

Relatives and friends bid farewell to Lena Samaras, daughter of former Prime Minister Antonis Samaras, who passed away at the age of 34. The funeral took place on Monday, August 11.

Lena Samaras was hospitalized at Sismanoglio Hospital after suffering an epileptic seizure and was subsequently transferred to Evangelismos Hospital, where she passed away after a cardiac arrest.

Kostas Samaras, the deceased's brother, has not made any statement on social media regarding her death. He had been on summer vacation in the Cyclades, specifically Paros and Tinos, in recent days.

Kostas Samaras is the second son of Antonis Samaras and Georgia Kritikou. He graduated from Athens College, studied Sports Management at Deree, and was elected president of the Deree Student Union in 2020. He worked at Makedonikos Halvas and now works at NGB Leasing.
