Panos Routsi: On Hunger Strike for Tempi Victims, Hospitalized for Examination

Panos Routsi, who is on a hunger strike demanding the exhumation of his son, a victim of the Tempi train tragedy, was transferred to Nikaia General State Hospital for scheduled medical examinations.

Accompanied by his wife, he arrived at the hospital by taxi around 8:30 a.m. on Friday and headed to the Emergency Department. Mr. Routsi is on the 19th day of his hunger strike.

Regarding a previous announcement by E.K.A.V. (National Centre for Emergency Care), Panos Routsi stated that he did not refuse medical assistance but replied that he was "fine" when asked if he needed anything.
