Giorgos Votsis' Funeral: Politicians and Journalists Attend

A large crowd gathered at the First Cemetery of Athens for the funeral of journalist Giorgos Votsis, who passed away at the age of 88.

The ceremony was attended by politicians such as Sokratis Famellos (SYRIZA), Alexis Haritsis (New Left), Aristides Baltas, Evangelos Apostolou, Thodoris Dritsas, Nikos Filis, Nikos Voutsis, Kostas Laliotis, Maria Damanaki, Sofia Voultepsi, Fotis Kouvelis, Antonis Roupakiotis, Alekos Papadopoulos, and Stefanos Tzoumakas.

Also present were journalists such as Stavros Theodorakis, Giorgos Varemenos, the president of ESIEA Maria Antoniadou, Panos Sombolos, and Giorgos Karameros.

Giorgos Votsis was closely associated with the newspaper "Eleftherotypia".
