Panos Routsi Hospitalized After 19 Days of Hunger Strike

Panos Routsi was transferred to Nikaia State Hospital for medical examinations as he continues his hunger strike for the 19th day. The reason is his request for the exhumation of his child, a victim of the Tempi tragedy, in order to carry out toxicological tests.
His health condition is considered worrying, with symptoms such as tachycardia and hypoglycemic episodes. Despite his weakness, he continues to consume only water, chamomile, and electrolytes. He has not received medical care since the start of his hunger strike in Syntagma Square.
Panos Routsi insisted on his request for toxicological tests and stated that he would be present during the procedure with a lawyer and a forensic expert of his choice. The Prosecutor's Office of Larissa has given the green light for the exhumation and DNA testing.
