Hardalias: New Supported Living Residences in Ilioupoli, Salamina, and Palaio Faliro

The Regional Governor of Attica, Nikos Hardalias, announced the inclusion of three new Supported Living Residences (SYD) in the Regional Program "Attica" 2021–2027.
The new facilities will be created in the Municipalities of Ilioupoli, Salamina, and Palaio Faliro, with a total budget of 5.9 million euros, funded by European resources.
In the Municipality of Ilioupoli, a new three-story building will be constructed, with a budget of 3,971,400 euros. In Salamina, a building with a budget of 1,661,600 euros will be constructed. In Palaio Faliro, a Supported Living Residence will be created, with a budget of 301,255 euros.
Mr. Hardalias stated that Attica is the first Greek region to utilize community resources for such facilities, emphasizing the importance of supporting vulnerable citizens.
Supported Living Residences are small accommodation units for people with disabilities, children, and adolescents who need support, providing housing, food, medical and social care.
