Apostolos Christou: In the 50m Backstroke Final at the World Championship

Apostolos Christou will compete in the 50m backstroke final at the World Championship in Singapore at 14:00. The Greek champion qualified with a time of 24:50 and will compete for a medal.

Christou will compete from the second lane, in the last participation of the Greek delegation in the event. In the semi-final, he finished second behind Ketze (24.32).

Christou's opponents in the final are: Kliment Kolesnikov (24.16), Pavel Samusenko (24.31), Peter Ketze (24.32), Ksawery Masiuk (24.41), Huber Kos (24.50), Quentin McCarty (24.52) and Isaac Cooper (24.53).

The final will be broadcast live on ERT2.
