Greece-Israel Volleyball Friendly Halted by Protest

A friendly volleyball match between Greece and Israel in Rentis was interrupted by protesters who entered the court with Palestinian flags. The incident led to a temporary suspension of the game and the detention of seven people by the police.
Specifically, six men and one woman entered the playing area during the first set, raising Palestinian flags in protest. Police forces intervened immediately, removing the protesters and taking them to the State Security.
The match was interrupted for approximately 2 to 3 minutes until order was restored. The friendly game was taking place at the "Melina Merkouri" gymnasium in Rentis.
