Douvalidis: "They didn't give me the opportunity at the Balkan Championship - My last race today"

Kostas Douvalidis won his 17th title at the Panhellenic Championship at Panthessaliko Stadium, winning the 110m hurdles. The 38-year-old athlete finished in 14.02 seconds, followed by Roumtsios (14.04) and Iliopoulos (14.05).
Despite the victory, Douvalidis expressed complaints about not participating in the Balkan Championship, saying: "Those who selected and made the team didn't give me the opportunity."
In his statements, he mentioned that this was probably his last race. He also dedicated his victory to his coaches, Sdrolas Charalambos and Antonis Giannoulakis.
Douvalidis holds the Panhellenic record in the 110 meters hurdles from 2013 with 13.34 seconds.
