Jovanovic: Opportunity to see Kostoulas, Tetteh and Triantis in the National Team

The coach of the Greek National Team, Ivan Jovanovic, referred to the calls of Babis Kostoulas, Andreas Tetteh and Nektarios Triantis for the friendly matches against Scotland and Belarus.

Jovanovic stressed that the exclusion from the 2026 World Cup saddened the team, but the friendlies are an opportunity to test new players. "We always try to open the roster of the National Team with some kids who show that they are in good competitive condition," he said.

About Kostoulas, he said: "Kostoulas showed good elements last year in the Greek championship, but in the periods of March and June we did not have him due to the injury. We want to see him now in the National Team."

About Tetteh, he noted: "Tetteh stands out this year in the matches he plays with his team."

Finally, about Triantis, he stated: "Triantis has been playing good games in the MLS both last year and this year and plays in an important position for us.
