Rowing: Gold and Silver for Greece at U-23 World Championship

Greece finished 4th in the medal table at the U23 World Rowing Championships in Poznan, Poland, with two gold and one silver medal.

Paschalina Mouratidou and Gavriela Lioliou won the gold medal in the lightweight women's double sculls in 7:20.61. France was second (7:22.87) and Germany third (7:25.62).

Eleni Diavati won the silver medal in the women's single sculls in 7:49.16. The athlete from Switzerland was first (7:39.10) and the Australian third (7:52.60).

Nikos Cholopoulos missed the bronze medal in the men's single sculls, finishing 4th in 6:56.18.

The men's quadruple sculls with Ioannis Kamaledakis, Iasonas Mousselimis, Konstantinos Giannoulis and Apostolos Stavros Alexiou finished 5th in Final B and 11th overall.

Great Britain was the leading country in the medal table with 4 gold medals.
