Mitoglou: Optimistic about the future of the National Basketball Team

Dinos Mitoglou expressed his optimism about the future of the National Basketball Team, despite the 76-66 defeat to Serbia in a friendly game. The international forward highlighted the new faces and talent within the team.

"It was a very good friendly game against a very strong team. I think we took several steps forward today. We have a lot of room for improvement," Mitoglou said after the game. He also referred to the challenge posed by Serbia with its size and depth, emphasizing that the energy in defense can be improved.

"I am optimistic. From the first day I came, I have said it, I see new faces, with kids who have a lot to give to basketball, like Samodourov. And Giannaras (n.n. Antetokounmpo) will help us a lot in the future. Personally, I feel good, the goal is to achieve something good for the Greek team. I hope so," Mitoglou added, underlining his belief in the team's potential.
