Nikos Samaras: 11 Years Since His Death

On this day, January 4, 2013, Nikos Samaras, one of Greece's most important volleyball players, passed away at the age of 42. His death was caused by a brain aneurysm while being transported to Laiko Hospital.

Nikos Samaras had 263 appearances with the Greek National Team and played for important teams such as Orestiada, Iraklis, Panathinaikos, Falconara, Seville, Fenerbahce, and Chenois.
