Nikos Hardalias Visits Mets Stadium After Panathinaikos Upgrades

Attica Regional Governor, Nikos Hardalias, visited the Mets Stadium, home of Panathinaikos Amateur, following the completion of the first phase of modernization works. The works included the installation of air conditioning units and shades, as well as the upgrade of the gym.

Mr. Hardalias met with the president of Panathinaikos Amateur, Dimitris Vranopoulos, director Sotiris Pantaleon, and members of the men's and women's volleyball teams. The Attica Region has allocated 1.7 million euros for the upgrade of sports facilities in the Municipality of Athens, with 1 million euros going to the Mets stadium.

The second phase of the works will include repairs, reconstructions, and hydro-thermal insulation.

Dimitris Vranopoulos thanked the Regional Governor for the immediate response to Panathinaikos' request.

Nikos Hardalias stated that the Region actively supports amateur sports by strengthening infrastructure and creating state-of-the-art sports centers.
