Papagiannis, Rogkavopoulos, Calathes: Reasons for Spanoulis' Exclusion

Vassilis Spanoulis announced the team for the EuroBasket 2025 preparation, with notable absences including Nikos Rogkavopoulos, Giorgos Papagiannis, and Nick Calathes.

Rogkavopoulos cited personal and professional reasons for his non-participation. Similarly, Papagiannis also stated his inability to participate due to personal reasons. Nick Calathes faced injuries during the season, and his absence was a mutual decision with the National team.

Additionally, Thomas Walkup continues his rehabilitation in the USA for a back injury. Thanasis Antetokounmpo, although he was with the team at the Paris Olympics, is without a team and is coming off a long absence.

Finally, Avdalas was called up for symbolic reasons but will leave during the preparation due to scheduled tryouts in the USA.
