Stefanos Ntouskos won the gold medal in the men's single sculls at the World Rowing Championships in Shanghai. Watch the video of the award ceremony and the playing of the National Anthem in his honor.

Ntouskos made history for Greek rowing, becoming the first Greek rower to win a gold medal in the men's single sculls at a World Championship. The Olympic champion finished with a time of 6:36.75, leaving behind German Zeidler (6:37.17).

This is Stefanos Ntouskos' first medal at a World Championship and his first gold since the gold at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021. Ntouskos dedicated his victory to all Greeks.
