Stefanos Tsitsipas: Loss to O'Connell in Toronto marks return with his father

Stefanos Tsitsipas was defeated by Chris O'Connell with 4-6, 6-4, 2-6 at the Toronto tournament, in his first appearance with his father, Apostolos Tsitsipas, back on his coaching team.

Tsitsipas, ranked No. 30 in the world, lost to No. 78, O'Connell, in a match that was decided in the third set. Despite leveling the score to 1-1, Tsitsipas was unable to resist his opponent's superiority in the final set.

Chris O'Connell's next opponent will be the winner of the De Minaur - Comesana match.
