Special Purpose Company Established to Save PAS Giannina

PAS Giannina is at a critical juncture, striving to settle its debts and secure its participation in Super League 2. Reportedly, the team has entered the out-of-court settlement mechanism to repay debts of 4.5 million euros to the state in 240 installments, approximately 20,000 euros per month.
Businessman Nikos Siontis announced the establishment of PAS Giannina Strategic Development Fund S.A., a special purpose company created to support the effort to save PAS Giannina.
In his post, Nikos Siontis emphasized that the company aims at the financial rehabilitation, operational stability, and football regeneration of the club, through transparent and legal procedures. The company intends to undertake the financing and supervision of the operation, subject to the approval of the Professional Sports Committee (EEA).
PAS Giannina S.D.F. S.A. plans to strengthen the team by staffing the football department, returning employees, covering operating needs, and settling older debts. The company's role is coordinating and guaranteeing, ensuring the transparency and safety of actions.
Nikos Siontis addressed a message to investors and sponsors, inviting them to participate in the effort to save PAS Giannina. He also called on the fans to support the team.
