Th. Vlachos: «The '87 National Team Showed the Way to the Top»

The national water polo coach, Thodoris Vlachos, watched a friendly basketball match of the Men's National Team at OAKA and spoke to ERT about the 1987 team.

Thodoris Vlachos stated: «In 1987, the team of Galis, Giannakis and the other players showed the way to the top to all Greek sports».

He also referred to the differences between basketball and water polo, saying: «I think we can hit the ball. It is more difficult for the children here to float in the water. Both are difficult. With tactics, good physical condition and mind games».
