Ilias Zouros Honored by Georgia for Contribution to National Team

Greek coach Ilias Zouros has been honored by the government of Georgia with the Medal of the Order of Honor for his contribution to the country's national basketball team.

The 59-year-old coach, who led the Georgian national team from 2016 to 2023, expressed his emotion for the award. "Georgia, my second home, 25/7/2025. One of the proudest moments of my 39-year career!", he stated in a post.

Currently, Ilias Zouros is the coach of Sagesse in Lebanon.
