Balkan Athletics Championship in Volos: Olympians and Champions

The Balkan Athletics Championship for Men/Women will be held in Volos on July 26-27, bringing together Olympians and European and world champions.
In addition to the stars of Greek athletics, such as Miltiadis Tentoglou, Emmanouil Karalis, and Elina Tzengko, athletes from Serbia, Cyprus, Romania, and other Balkan countries will participate.
The Serbian team will be led by Ivana Španović, the world long jump champion, and Angelina Topić, second in the European Championship.
Amel Tuka, a two-time medalist in the 800m from Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Lia Apostolovski from Slovenia will also participate.
Romania will have a strong team with Bianca Ghelber, European hammer throw champion, and Alina Rotaru.
Cyprus will be represented by Milan Trajkovic, world champion in the 60m hurdles, and Valentina Savva.
Significant participation will also come from Turkey, with Ramil Guliyev, world champion in the 200m.
