Anxiety continues for the 14-year-old from Kefalonia, who remains intubated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the University General Hospital of Patras. The young girl was transferred to Karamanthaneio after an air ambulance transport last Saturday.

According to statements by the head of the Pediatric ICU, Andreas Iliadis, to pelop.gr, the causes of the 14-year-old's health deterioration remain unknown. "We did another MRI yesterday, but the findings are not clear... We do not know if it is an acute infection from a virus. We will continue the tests," he stated.

The 14-year-old's ordeal began when, while on vacation in Kefalonia, she suddenly developed weakness in walking and physical collapse. She was initially transported by an EKAV helicopter to Araxos airport and then to Karamanthaneio.

Mr. Iliadis praised the immediate response and coordination of the Karamanthaneio staff, emphasizing that they acted exemplary.
