Free Mobile Health Units Services Across Greece from 2026

From 2026, free services provided by Mobile Health Units (KOMY) will be expanded throughout Greece. The government is reinforcing the program with 900 locations nationwide, aiming to serve at least 500,000 people annually.
Minister of Health Adonis Georgiadis stated that KOMY is one of the ministry's most impactful initiatives, providing access to healthcare services in remote areas. Deputy Minister of Health Eirini Agapidaki announced the program's expansion and emphasized that KOMY does not replace EKAV (National Emergency Aid Center).
By the end of November, 900 KOMY visit points will be developed. The service is free for insured and uninsured individuals. The pilot program revealed that many middle-aged patients are undiagnosed with hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, diabetes, and other diseases.
Deputy Minister of Health Marios Themistokleous emphasized the connection of KOMY with the national telemedicine network. EODY President Christos Chatzichristodoulou mentioned KOMY's success in vaccinating Roma people against measles and increasing vaccinations for influenza, Covid, and herpes zoster.
Citizens can find information about KOMY visits on the EODY website and report their needs by calling 1135.
