Efi Alevizou: I underwent a radical hysterectomy due to malignancy

Journalist Efi Alevizou revealed that she underwent a radical hysterectomy after being diagnosed with malignancy in the uterus. The revelation was made on the show #ΖωΚαλά.

Efi Alevizou, with many years of experience in television and print media, worked for 18 years at #Alpha, presenting the news bulletins. After leaving television in 2022, she moved to Thessaloniki with her family.

As she explained, her gynecologist detected the malignancy in tests and suggested a preventive hysterectomy, which she proceeded with. The journalist stressed that her mother had developed breast cancer, which influenced her decision.

Referring to life after the surgery, Efi Alevizou stated that she is trying to philosophize about her life and reduce stress.
