EOF Recalls Batch of Antimicrobial Drug Flagyl

The National Organization for Medicines (EOF) has announced the recall of batch 41015 of the antimicrobial drug product FLAGYL 500 mg/cap, expiring on 10/2028.

The recall was decided due to the detection of a foreign body in one package.

LAVIPHARM S.A. is obliged to contact the recipients of the product immediately and withdraw the specific batch from the market. The recall documents must be kept for at least five years and be made available to the EOF upon request.
