Eurydice Papadopoulou: Moving Confession About Cancer

Eurydice Papadopoulou, on the occasion of World Cancer Day on February 4th, shared a moving experience on her personal Instagram account.
She, who was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma 13 years ago, expressed her surprise at still being alive and sent a message of hope to those struggling with the disease.
In her post, Papadopoulou stressed the importance of prevention and urged people to get regular check-ups. She also referred to the difficult but not invincible nature of cancer, highlighting the advances in medicine.
"You can do it, just like I did. Don't give up," she said characteristically, adding that the cancer experience can lead to a positive change and a more humane approach to life.
Papadopoulou advised her followers to see Cancer Day as an opportunity for a check-up, stressing that early diagnosis saves lives.
