Georgiadis: «Medical Procedures are Very Cheap in Greece»

The Minister of Health, Adonis Georgiadis, commented on the cost of medical procedures in Greece, stating that they are "very cheap" compared to other European countries. The statement was made in response to a video he shared on social media, in which a Greek woman living in Norway mentions that the cost of a root canal there amounts to 845 euros.
The woman in the video mentioned that it would be more economical for her to book a plane ticket to Greece, have the root canal done, and eat a souvlaki, rather than have it done in Norway. Mr. Georgiadis commented that many do not realize the true state of health in Greece and that medical procedures are much cheaper compared to the rest of Europe.
Specifically, the Greek woman mentioned that the cost of the root canal in Norway was over 9,000 kroner, i.e. 845 euros. The Minister of Health shared the woman's post on Twitter.
