Summer Diet Traps: How to Avoid Them

Beware of hidden summer calories! Learn how to avoid dietary pitfalls and maintain your figure without deprivation.
Salads: Can contain up to 1000 calories, depending on the ingredients. Pay attention to cheeses (feta, gouda, etc.) and the amount of oil. Opt for low-fat white cheese and limit olive oil to 1 tablespoon.
Vegetables: Boiled or grilled vegetables are ideal, but avoid fried ones, as the calories triple.
Fruits: Bananas, watermelons, grapes, and figs are rich in natural sugars. Consume them in moderation. One serving of fruit is equivalent to 1 small banana, 15 small grapes, 2 small figs, or 1 very thin slice of watermelon.
Drinks: Coffees with whipped cream, milkshakes, and cocktails are calorie bombs. Opt for water, natural juices, iced coffee, or light soft drinks.
