Christina Applegate, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2021, has spoken about her battle with the disease and its impact on her 14-year-old daughter, Sadie.

In a podcast with Kelly Ripa, Applegate revealed that her daughter expressed her longing for her mother before the diagnosis. 'She told me, 'I missed who you were before you got sick',' the actress confessed.

Jaime-Lynn Sigler, who also suffers from multiple sclerosis, joined the discussion and shared her own experiences as a mother. She emphasized the importance of children expressing their feelings, as the disease affects the entire family.

Applegate and Sigler launched the podcast 'MeSsy' in 2024, where they openly discuss life with multiple sclerosis.

Applegate has been hospitalized more than 30 times since being diagnosed, dealing with vomiting, diarrhea, and pain. Despite the difficulties, she remains dedicated to her daughter and raising awareness about the disease.
