Larnaca Hospital Air Conditioning Malfunction Causes Patient Distress

Problems due to a malfunctioning air conditioning system in the surgical department of Larnaca Hospital were reported by a patient's relative. According to Maria Angelidou, the air conditioning had not been working for days, creating unbearable conditions, especially on Friday.

The relative reported that they had to bring a fan to relieve the 87-year-old patient. Complaints were made to MPs, the media, and the Mayor of Larnaca.

OKYPY stated that a small problem occurred in a room on the fifth floor, which has been fixed. The Mayor of Larnaca stated that the issue will be discussed by the Larnaca Development Committee, due to increased complaints about the conditions at the hospital.
