Billy Joel: Update on Rare Brain Condition

Billy Joel has spoken about his diagnosis with the rare brain condition Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH), saying he feels "good". The diagnosis forced him to cancel concerts.
In an interview on Bill Maher's Club Random podcast, Joel mentioned that his condition is "still being worked on" and that he is experiencing balance issues. "I feel good... it sounds a lot worse than it feels," he stated.
NPH is an uncommon condition primarily affecting individuals over 60, causing fluid buildup in the brain, which can affect hearing, vision, and mobility.
The 76-year-old singer canceled 17 appearances in North America and Europe. His wife, Alexis Joel, expressed gratitude for the "rapid diagnosis" and hope for a quick recovery.
