New Presidential Decree on Ultrasounds: Reactions from Radiologists

A new Presidential Decree has been published, redefining the medical specialties that have the right to perform ultrasounds. The decree amends the previous decree of 2000.

According to the new PD, doctors specializing in Radiodiagnostics or Radiology and Radiotherapy Oncology have the right to perform ultrasounds. Specialized doctors can also examine the organs related to their field, after additional training.

Radiologists have expressed reactions regarding the new Presidential Decree.
