Roberto Carlos: 'I didn't have a heart attack, I'm fine'

Roberto Carlos has been discharged from a São Paulo clinic after a scheduled angioplasty to repair a coronary obstruction.

The 52-year-old legend of Real Madrid and the Brazilian National Team reassured his fans via Instagram, stating: 'I didn't have a heart attack. I underwent a preventive medical procedure, scheduled in advance'.

The surgery, although initially scheduled for 40 minutes, lasted almost three hours due to complications, but was completed successfully. Roberto Carlos thanked the medical team for their care.
