Tasos Kostis: "I didn't say why me when I was diagnosed with cancer"

Actor Tasos Kostis spoke about his experience with cancer, emphasizing that he faced the diagnosis with strength and determination. In a recent interview, Kostis described how he drew strength from himself and life to fight the disease.

"I drew strength from myself and from life. I didn't say 'oh why me'. I said I would fight it," he stated. He also referred to his wife's reaction, who fainted when she learned of his diagnosis.

Tasos Kostis confessed that he can no longer bear to hear the word "chemotherapy" as it reminds him of the difficult moments he went through. "At first when you hear the word 'cancer' you fall, now the only thing I can't hear is 'chemotherapy'. Because I understand that things are difficult. And I did it, but okay," he said.

Regarding managing the situation, the actor emphasized: "My wife fainted when they announced that I had cancer, I started thinking about making my will, but the doctor told me that I would suffer and get well. You get the strength from within you. No one will hurt for you. I don't want them to feel sorry for me, I'm fighting at that moment."
