Thessaloniki: 10-year-old in critical condition after cardiac arrest at swimming pool

A 10-year-old child suffered a cardiac arrest at the Poseidonio Swimming Pool in Thessaloniki on Wednesday afternoon. Rescuers and a doctor from EKAV Thessaloniki rushed to the scene and applied Advanced Life Support protocols.

According to thestival, rescuers managed to revive the child, who was then transferred to Hippokratio Hospital of Thessaloniki for further medical examinations. A conventional ambulance and a Mobile Medical Unit of the National Center for Immediate Assistance participated in the operation, with a total of four rescuers and one doctor.
