A three-year-old girl from Volos, diagnosed with encephalitis, is hospitalized out of danger. According to the president of POEDIN, Michalis Giannakos, the child's health condition has stabilized and did not require admission to the ICU.

The child, after complications she developed while having the flu, was transferred to the University Hospital of Larissa. The doctors initially deemed it necessary to transfer her to the pediatric clinic of the hospital. Mr. Giannakos expressed his praise to the medical staff of the hospitals of Volos and Larissa.

It is recalled that the child had a fever of 39°C at Christmas and presented vomiting. The parents transferred the child to the Volos hospital on December 28.
