Christina Bompa: "I was worried about cancer due to IVF hormones"

On her Be Well podcast, Christina Bompa discussed fertility and IVF with obstetrician-gynecologist Panagiotis Tanimanidis. A main topic was women's fear of an increased risk of cancer due to hormones.

Panagiotis Tanimanidis reassured that, according to studies since 1978, there is no statistically significant increase in cancers in women undergoing IVF. He mentioned that in some cases there may be early diagnosis due to more frequent examinations.

Christina Bompa admitted that she also had this anxiety before starting the process.
