Global IQ Map: Which Countries Have the Highest Intelligence? Cyprus' Position

A global map illustrating the average Intelligence Quotient (IQ) per country has been created based on **over 100 studies**. The studies indicate that country performance is influenced by education, socioeconomic conditions, health, and cultural factors.

East Asian countries consistently hold the highest positions, with Japan leading with an average IQ exceeding 106. Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, and South Korea follow.

Conversely, countries with high poverty levels, such as Nepal, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guatemala, and Cape Verde, show the lowest performance. These countries are characterized by limited access to education and serious health difficulties.

In Europe, Northern and Eastern European countries record high performance. **Cyprus**, according to international estimates, is close to the global average, with an **IQ** ranging **between 93 and 98 units**, placing the country **between the 45th and 50th positions worldwide**. The average IQ of Greece is estimated at 90.7, placing it in 54th place.
